Jo Krajeski has been working professionally with animals for
15 years (not to mention
her menagerie of animals over the course of her lifetime)
in many different facets of
animal care providing her with extensive knowledge
& experiences.
She has worked as a veterinary assistant and receptionist in veterinary and emergency clinics. Continuing her education, Jo completed two zoo animal keeper training programs allowing her to work with a huge variety of species. This gained her employment with the education department, and volunteered for the husbandry departments for the Aquarium of the Pacific, working closely with the staff of the Lorikeet Forest for several years.
Her most recent professional experience consisted of caring
for a private collection of animals which included: 11 dog mix breed pack -
from large to small; 9 Parrots (Hyacinth Macaws, Cockatoos, Caiques, Amazon,
African Grey, Bourke parakeet); 20 various canaries & finches in an aviary;
2 Koi ponds; 2 tortoises; and 1 cat.
During these 15 years of adventures in the working world she has continually been an unofficial pet sitter for friends, clients from vet clinics, or anyone who needed the help! Jo has always found the most joy in pet sitting, being able to provide a comfortable environment for a pet when their loved one is out of town & seeing the joy & relief on the faces of those loved ones going out of town! Jo has a gift for connecting with animals. They respond positively to her almost immediately which makes for a wonderful experience for your pet while you are away.
Jo is certified in Pet First Aid & CPR by The American Red Cross
KOOK - aka Kooky Kiki Bird is a Double Yellow Headed Amazon. He is full of feisty fierceness as Amazons are known to be. He is also the most loving and silliest bird you will ever meet. His age is unknown but suspected to be somewhere between 10-14.
KAHLO - aka Cho-cheet (its the
noise she makes when she's really excited). She is a Rosy Bourke (aka
grass parakeet). She is bright and as you can see very colorful (blue,
yellow, pink, gray, white & black). Sweetest little pea in the
world.
